I talked to Martha via Skype when I first saw pics of these floating around to see if she could get these since she's always got the latest KO factory products. When she told me she could get them, I immediately placed my order. I paid her via good ole' Bitcoin and I got my QC pics 2 days later. These shipped via EMS double boxed and took approx 6 days or so to reach my doorstep. All in all good communication with Martha, she's a very friendly person and has been one of my main go-to's since early this year.
Standard double boxed shipping.
Fit: Generally I'd suggest going half size up. The toe area is not as spacious like retail 3.0's. I'd say 80% close in terms of sizing. I had to wear these without the insoles for a couple times before they loosened up enough for me to wear them with insoles like normal. So with that in mind, I would say narrow feet fam you guys can go TTS and get a snug fit. But I'd still suggest a half size up, because these fit a bit tighter than my retail UB 2.0's.
Construction/Quality: Good construction. No loose threads, no glue marks, nothing weird going on with the shoes. The primeknit is stretchy but slightly rougher to the touch than retails. But keep in mind UB 3.0's have a ridged stripe pattern going across the upper, so that contributes to the "rough" feeling of the primeknit. Cage is soft and flexible like retails. Padding and everything inside the shoe is nice and soft like retails as well.
Boost & Overall Comfort:Sweet baby Jesus these are the BEST UB boost I've seen yet. It's gonna be hard to top this one. This baby right here is the closest thing if not one of the closest thing to TRUE BASF boost. Pellet size and shape is 99% like retails. Colour is really white like retails. SOFTNESS is as soft as retails.
Shape: Overall it's accurate, the ONLY thing is a slight heel bump. Becomes much much less prominent after wearing them a bit.
What else can I say? It's an awesome UB rep. I wish they'd make more colourways and variants. KO factory plz! Also I REALLY hope they'd stay in production for a long time, because as far as I know BASF boost soles are hard as fuck to get and I think it is due to KO factory buying a shitton of them that Chan is taking so long to get BASF soles for his UB creams. TLDR: Cop these before it's too late repfam. You can't go wrong with the basic Core Black or Triple White colorways. These UB reps are pretty much on par with retails and has the best boost sole in the market right now. Just don't forget to go half size up.
Will all you FUDsters just shut up, it's galactically impossibru for bitcoin to go below $3000.
I'm very much certain that $3000 is the ultimate support level and this is the very last chance to ever buy bitcoin at such discounted prices again. Just wait till boxing day folks, good ole bitcoins is gonna go stellar like we never seen it before. Screw lambos I'm going for rolls-royce, see ya no coinerz.
When NY regulator comes to /r/IAmA to field questions about Bitcoin regulation Reddit uncharacteristically treats him respectfully and asks well informed and insightful questions. LOL JK it's a fucking mess.
Today there was an IAmA by the Superintendent of Financial Services of NY on Bitcoin regulation. Politics + Bitcoin = Bravery Typhoon. Mr. Lawsky was smart enough to choose questions that weren't too hostile or circlejerky. But the replies to his answers are some of the bravest circlejerking I've seen since MayMay June. Let's take a look:
So if you mean what you say, please explain how HSBC is still in business... +121
Because they paid enough money to have enough time for everyone to forget about it and forge enough proof to end up with the least possible damage. +43
If there is one thing that makes my blood boil with smug Redditors it's ellipses. They are always inserted as some sort of QED, implying the parent is being dishonest, or implying the parent is stupid. I hate it. If there is one thing that you'll see reoccur often if you read the post, it's droves of Redditors saying "BUT WAT ABOUT THE BIG BANKS!?". As if perfect regulation of a larger industry is required before regulating something else.
Why is HSBC and other banking firms still allowed to operate in NY? +50
JUST KICK EM' OUT. There are like a million WAT ABOUT HSBC comments here.
Also, why does Bitcoin get the hammer when everything else just slides under the radar when it comes to money laundering (I'm looking at HSBC)? +126
Last one, I swear.
I just want to thank you for doing this AMA. We appreciate being involved. +98
I guess doing an IAmA is the only way for a Reddit user to feel like they are being "involved"? There are better outlets. Anyway, these THANKS FOR DOING THIS NO QUESTION XD posts are becoming the norm in IAmAs.
... but not seriously enough to prosecute a single bank executive.... = loss of legitimacy +35
D-D-D-DOUBLE SMUG ELLIPSES BONUS ROUND
Hi XXXXX, you've been sent 8.6550 milli-bitcoins ($5.00) from XXXXX via /changetip. Collect it. +13
Whoa, what just happened here? +10
BenLawsky just got $5 worth of Bitcoin. Instantly. No fees. With a Reddit comment. +24
When will this END? Has the "Whoa, what just happened here" thing just become a meme now, and they're poking fun at themselves? I can't tell.
That's simply because they can't admit to using the NSA to build a parallel case +42
Man, if some NSA /panichistory starts taking root I'm going to have a euphoria overdose Alright, so there are some brave people that hoped onto Ben's comment to ride the karma train. But there are lots of other brave people who didn't get their totally legit, unloaded, and unbiased questions answered. Let's take a look at those
Since the actual Money Laundry Laws can't be applied to Big Banks & Financial Institutions (HSBC, etc) because of fears that the entire banking system would be destabilized. +25
How can money laundering laws be real if our eyes don't real? Seriously, what the fuck is this? HSBC was prosecuted and fined. You can certainly say that it wasn't sufficient, but obviously the laws exist and are enforced against big banks.
In your opinion should more be done to punish banks that have laundered billions of dollars? Do you think a small fine compared to the money the banks made off laundering is enough? +12
Man, this is so loaded I might have to steal it for an ELI5 post.
Hello Mr. Lawsky, from the news I heard that HSBC was involved in 1,9 bn$ money laundering and no criminal charges have been filed. It seems to me, the issue there is several magnitudes bigger than with bitcoin at the moment? Don´t you think, your time would be spent wiser, to takkle this problem first. +9
Maybe I'll use this one instead
[Bitcoin is] going to replace fiat currency and do away with the need for central banks. Advancements in decentralized and distributed technologies will allow that most other government functions to be replaced as well. +7
There wasn't really a question attached to this. Just some good ole' Bitcoin is gonna topple gubmit circlejerking.
My question is, have you read any of the discussions in /bitcoin about the hearings you've been involved in and the talks you've given? +7
If your goal is to have him take the Bitcoin community seriously you better hope he never sets foot in /bitcoin
What are your intentions for regulations regarding video game currency, since it can be traded/bought/sold for fiat currencies as well? It is a digital currency the same as bitcoin. Will there be fines imposed on people selling or buying their World of Warcraft gold from other people without some kind of license? +5
Eve Money is going to replace the USD. Just wait.
What benefit does your third party regulation bring to me and the person I'm willing to trade with? Can you maybe clarify for me that your financial regulation actually benefit customers and that it exceeds the "hidden costs" caused by your bureau? +4
"Please justify regulation. TYIA."
Maybe a slightly extreme question but if I want to pay someone for the right to assign a number to an address in a virtual ledger what does it have to do with you? +3
NOT IN MY BACK YARD IMAGINARY WALLET
What gives the NYDFS the authority to regulate a jurisdiction-less distributed computer system? Have you received a mandate from the open developer community behind crypto currencies or the majority of their user bases. +4
Does this guy really think the government needs permission from Bitcoin developers to regulate Bitcoin?
I know government is slow on everything, but when do you think the government will finally be able to gather its senses and take bitcoin mainstream? Also, do you see any chances of US government not embracing bitcoin at all? +2
I guess when they are cool without ditching the USD for a deflationary and volatile currency. I mean, I know I would have been totally cool if my mortgage was based in bitcoin and over the past three years the amount I owed grew a thousand fold.
Would you say that most Americans care more about stopping money laundering or creating jobs?
Because they are mutually exclusive?
Considering that it has been well established that the US government itself has been responsible for funding both drug cartels and terrorist organizations and has laundered money to do so, can you please explain what the major concern is over a relatively small and unused cryptocurrency? +3
It's said his fedora grew 3 sizes this day A majority of the questions are like this. Pages and pages of them. Hundreds. The worst part of the IAmA was he didn't even answer the important questions
Tai Zen: "The Bitcoin Maximalist Retards will be DELIGHTED & TICKLED to find out that my bitcoin core transaction took less than 15 min to confirm today! 1st time in several yrs that it confirmed this quick for me. Reminds me of the good ole days when btc core was a p2p electronic cash!"
The underrated stock survey! Submit your picks for the community to track
Following on the previous tracking post (http://redd.it/i2mmzg) and the highly upvoted request from DJ-Ascii , I've set up this post for another round of underrated or undervalued stock picks. As before, let us know what stock you believe is underrated and a consistent winner that has done well for you, or you believe will do well going forward. In order to make this easier to track please use the following guidelines for submitting.
Only one submission per comment. You can make multiple comments, but please only submit one stock per comment.
Please include at least the ticker and the company name. Feel free to explain why you think this is a good stock.
I'll add these new picks alongside the old survey so as to update you on each portfolio over time. Don't worry about any overlaps. Edit 1: I've compiled everyone who has posted so far, but I'll look out for any final additions tomorrow. The list will then be locked EOD on Friday the 7th of August, and all prices will start from there. Edit 2: All picks have now been locked down and consolidated into the list below. Stocks are sorted in alphabetical order of their company name and the ID corresponds to the approximate order in which they were submitted. The next update will be in 30 days.
Taloudellinen riippumattomuus (financial independence, early retirement) on hieno tavoite ja siihen löytyy oppaita englanniksi netti pullollaan. KAIKKI perustuvat 'vähäriskiseen' (ainakin historiallisesti) taktiikkaan eli indeksirahastojen ostamiseen. Itse olen ostanut viimeiset kolme vuotta ainoastaan Bitcoinia.
The pattern for BTC I notice in regard to various forms of Bitcoin.
It seems to me that one of the futures bitcoin may have would include being split into various derivative forms of itself. By this I mean it will be split into WBTC, RenBTC, KycBTC(for China), BTC ETF (for Wall St.), RBTC, sBTC, and PolkaBTC. At some point, it will be a throwback to own just regular ole BTC
New PC, new everything, drives disappearing & malware
Hi all, Been searching for answers regarding disappearing drives but only found stuff regarding potentially failing older drives. My computer and all components are new save one SSD and I assembled it in June. Components: Ryzen 3700x Vengeance 32GB 3200MHz Gigabyte 2070s MSI B450 Gaming carbon Corsair 750w modular PSU All high end Corsair braided cables Now the drives: Samsung Evo 860 500gb C: Samsung Evo 860 500gb D: (photos - lightroom) Samsung Evo 850 250gb E: (games) Toshiba 1tb F: (storage) Only the D: and E: drives periodically disappear. It's I'd say about 10-20% of the time after turning the computer on. Restarting usually makes em come back. All drives have good health according to Magician and are healthy according to Dskmgmt. The 850 comes from a previous computer but was thoroughly wiped (formatted, volumes and partitions deleted in Dskmgmt then reformatted again). Magician says 6.5tb were written on it. It was on a laptop and with not much file movement on it save for .docs .pdfs and the likes. Now comes the malware part, though I have no idea if it is connected. Back in July I realised the PC was infected with malwares since I couldn't access Windows defender (only had the blank 'security at a glance screen, and defender had indeed been disabled from the reg). I'd been a greedy bastard and might have gone on unsafe websites. Installed malware bytes, which found a bunch of malware including the one responsible for the defender registry debacle. It found other bitcoin mining stuff too. It apparently took care of it, however, since the computer was new, I did a full windows reinstall without keeping files. I set the few important files aside on a drive and scanned everything beforehand. Everything was fine, fast forward about 3 weeks ago when I tried launching a game and steam tells me I have to download it again. The game drive was gone. I restarted and everything was back to normal. After a while I thought 'eh, let's have ole Defender scan this mess' and bam! No defender, blank 'security at a glance' screen... Back with MWB, more or less same results as before with defender registry hack, bitcoin mining stuff and all. Thing is, I had been much more careful and hadn't downloaded anything, so this seems even weirder for me. I did another fresh windows install two days ago, not saving files (except storing the heavy steam library after full scan), thinking I'd be safe again and could finally enjoy a clean and proper PC. However, this morning, as I tried launching a game, I realised both the game drive and photo drive are gone. Restarted and it's fine, but damn is it annoying. TL;DR: drives disappear randomly it appears, but 2 malwares infestations makes me doubt everything. Everything's brand spanking new though one drive is slightly older but in good health! High quality cables. Thanks for any input and for reading that damn mess. Cheers!
The Bitcoin Monster is gladly stealing from the poor to serve the greedy. Same ole scheme.
Personally I think today's young generation are more foolish then ever. And as they grow into power of the world, it will become even more foolish and fragile than ever. Even if it means centuries of wasteland cultures full of materialism and greed. Whatever the case may be. When you walk into a casino, put a quarter into a slot machine, then win $500K, who paid for it? All the many losers that came before you. The casino didn't pay for it. So you didn't turn a quarter into $500K. In your mind you did. But in reality, a bunch of disappointed strangers gave you $500K. So it was one small asset of value that was exchanged for many assets of value. Easy enough. It works. Something real for something real. And take note that alot of alcohol went into getting a bunch of greedy people to spend enough to pay YOU your new fortune. Similar schemes apply to winning state lotteries, minus the alcohol. Bitcoin is something else entirely. It's a global casino. Except it's like exchanging real money for virtual play money. It's like buying a stack of fake dollar bills with a real one. Counterfeit. But its been heavily disguised by marketing tactics. Except that it isn't being seen that way because its candy coated by tech talk and other socially accepted ideologies. It's the new currency. It's giving power back to the people. It's making everyone rich. NOT. The bottom line is ALWAYS the same. IN THE END, something of real value is going to be traded for something of real value. So if and when Bitcoin crashes, somebody has to pay the bills. You think bankers and big time investors are going to do it? No. The consequences will ALWAYS fall down to the smallest of sectors. The burden will show up in the form of EXTREMELY high prices on EVERYTHING. Utilities. Goods. Food. Gasoline. It'll make that cool million you just got with Bitcoin seems like $10K. But all the sincere, honest hard working people who actually EARN their money will suffer tremendously. ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR GREED THAT HELPED PROMOTE THE BIGGEST CRASH THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN. Bitcoin is sucking the world dry little by little. We just haven't seen it yet. It isn't hard to see if you look. But if you're too busy watching your Coinbase wallet, then you obviously are only thinking of yourselves. Just consider this. Every time you see your USD balance move upward, that money came from SOMEONE SOMEWHERE in the future. The ultimate BILL will transfer many hands until it finally reaches the little guy all over again. The same thing has happened many times over since the Gold Rush. Those who follow greed seem to get rewarded. And they wear the cloak of selfishness. All the while everyone else gets to suffer for it. Think I am wrong? Just bookmark this page and come back and see my final post: I TOLD YOU SO!
